Before joining TSG, Gary worked in accounting and FP&A within the outdoor and real estate industries. Most recently he left Realogy, where he managed the accounting and finances of regional and branch offices operated by the Coldwell Banker division within Southern California and Arizona. His prior experience has exposed him to not just insight in the financial inner workings of the respective trades but also a wide-swath of accounting and finance related applications big and small. Gary earned a BS in management science and a minor in accounting from UC San Diego.

What brings you the most joy in your job?
The satisfaction and sense of accomplishment at the end of the day from being able to complete tasks and solve problems.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
At a prior employer, I solely resolved an accounting issue that snowballed for 6 years and 3 separate accounting teams had been unsuccessful in fixing.
What are the keys to building a successful brand?
An organization with good leadership and support team; accompanied by a healthy company culture. Product offerings that are both useful and relevant to potential customers. Continual innovation in both pre-existing product and new-product. The embracing of social media and ecommerce in additional to traditional outlets for marketing and sales.
