Before joining TSG Consumer Partners, Josh worked at Credit Suisse in London, where he was an Associate in their TMT team. Josh received an LLB in Law from King’s College, London.

What was the first job you had?
While I was at school I ran an Amazon webstore selling DVDs. It was a harsh lesson in the disruptive impact technology can have on consumer preferences. I witnessed the death of the DVD first hand!
What attracted you to TSG?
TSG’s nimble approach is something that initially attracted me; its ability and track record of finding consumer-focused brands that sit in emerging pockets of growth. The appeal only grew when I met the team and was introduced to TSG’s exemplary culture – a global, unified group constantly cross-pollinating ideas and knowledge. Everyone is truly passionate about what they do.
What attracted you to the business of brand building?
I have always been fascinated by certain brand’s intangible ability to stand out. Often it is so difficult to point to exactly what makes a brand special, but I think that is part of the magic. A businesses’ understanding of its customer is central to its ability to stand out, and drives the fascinating relationship between brand / customer.
