Q&A
What was the first job you had?
The first job I ever had was in high school, working at a frozen yogurt store called 21 Handles, which was all about blending fruits into frozen yogurt (before Pinkberry was a thing) and really focusing on customer service from beginning to end.
What attracted you to TSG?
I admire the strong leadership and the emphasis on investing in brands beyond capital. I am a part of a team that really specializes in helping brands move forward in digital, marketing, diligence, consumer insights, and brand development work. And I truly believe this type of forward thinking in investments is a unique differentiator for TSG.
What attracted you to the business of brand building?
Brand building is a reflection of consumerism shaping itself against the evolution of culture. And in an especially heavy digital landscape, it has been exciting to watch emerging brands, as well as legacy brands, redefine themselves with design-first methodologies. I enjoy getting to know brands and finding ways to further expand their storytelling.
