Q&A
What was the first job you had?
My first job was as a research assistant at UChicago’s Center of Decision Research where I helped run an experiment testing the impact of food restrictions on loneliness. I had always been interested in what influences people’s decisions and got to see firsthand how and what shifts human behavior.
What brings you the most joy in your job?
Making numbers on a page into insights that empower people to take data-driven and informed actions.
What are your greatest sources of inspiration?
I walk everywhere and I’m constantly stuck by how the streets I’ve walked since I was a kid have changed, shaped by the millions of people who call New York City home. Somewhere in this city, right now, someone is building the next big brand, writing a soon-to-be top-streamed song, or conducting research that will win a Nobel Prize. New York City is ever-evolving and the future of its possibilities never fails to inspire me.
