TSG Consumer Partners Expands Portfolio Operations and Value Creation Group, TSG Vantage, with Hire of Brian Crandall, Managing Director

Brian brings over 20 years of business development and operations experience, including generative AI

SAN FRANCISCO – October 17, 2024 – TSG Consumer Partners (“TSG”), a leading private equity firm, today announced the expansion of its portfolio operations group, TSG Vantage (“Vantage”), with the appointment of Brian Crandall as a Managing Director, effective October 15, 2024. This hire continues Vantage’s strategic growth and furthers its value-add capabilities.

Vantage supports TSG partner companies with strategic and operational services, with a particular focus on commercial, operations, talent and digital value creation strategies. Vantage’s focus areas are enhanced by a dedicated Consumer Insights team, fueling data-driven decision-making to ensure that TSG’s partner companies are addressing the end consumer’s wants and needs. Led by Dori Konig, the Vantage team is made up of professionals from a variety of blue-chip companies, including Walmart, Sephora and Uber, who help to drive sustainable growth and margin enhancement across TSG’s portfolio.

Brian brings over 20 years of strategy, business development and operations experience. He most recently served as Chief Client Officer for Accenture's Global Private Equity Group where he founded and built the firm's centralized private equity practice and launched the first Generative AI and managed service programs for private equity clients. In his new role, Brian will oversee commercial and digital value creation for TSG Vantage.

Prior to joining Accenture in 2022, Brian’s career focused on post-acquisition value creation, late-stage diligence and transition, as well as AI business operations in roles at both Platinum Equity and McKinsey & Company.  Brian holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business from Cornell University.
